Our Mission, Vision, and Values
Mission, Vision, and Values
We equip and empower our church family to grow in the wisdom and grace of God and guide the curious to Christ.
Our Mission
We aspire to have a church family that is known in our community to be passionate about living out the cause of Christ in our inner circles.
Our Vision
We are a family that is committed to each other to cultivate vulnerability, improvement, connection, balance, and influence.
Our Values
Understanding Our Mission
We equip and empower our church family to grow in the wisdom and grace of God and guide the curious to Christ
There is a responsibility to the congregation to:
To prepare our members mentally and spiritually for a life dedicated to Christ
Equip
To motivate and create confidence in our members to have a passion for serving Christ
Empower
We all are buried in sin and are climbing our way out of a hole. Growth is a lifelong endeavor and we must assist everyone, from our children to our elderly, to continually improve
Grow
The Word of God is the only true north compass. Without it, we fall into the traps of the Devil. We must study it diligently and without a predisposition to discover God’s truth.
Wisdom
The words of Amazing Grace:
Twas grace that taught my heart to fear, and grace my fears relieved.
A reverent heart that understands the power of God should live in fear and trembling. However, that same almighty God, sacrificed His Son so we can enter into an eternal relationship with Him
With this grace given to us, it demands we also to show grace to others
Grace
There also is a responsibility to the outside community to:
Christ’s last commandment was to go out and make disciples
Guide
To be the most effective, we must target our resources to individuals who have a genuine curiosity about our faith
Curious
Understanding Our Vision
We aspire to have a church family that is known in our community to be passionate about living out the cause of Christ in our inner circles.
We are the most effective in ministering to our local communities since we best understand its micro-culture.
Our Community
These people are our own families, neighbors, and our co-workers that we spend most of our time with.
Inner Circles
The leadership should not feel responsible for providing all the programs and Christian activities its members should be involved with. Rather, the Church should equip and empower families to engage and be responsible for their own walk with God.
Understanding Our Culture Values Statement
We are a family that is committed to each other to cultivate vulnerability, improvement, connection, balance and influence
We have all been united as brethren by our Father God. We value each other as dear friends as we support each other through thick and thin.
Family
It won’t take much time to notice we are not perfect, we all have weaknesses. We are open with what they are so people with those strengths can help us achieve what we couldn’t by ourselves.
Vulnerability
Knowing our weaknesses gives us a path on how to become better. At the end of the day, we have to be at peace with ourselves, but there will always be a longing to improve upon every facet of our lives.
Improvement
This is the energy that exists between people when they feel seen, heard, and valued; when they can give and receive without judgment; and when they derive sustenance and strength from the relationship
Connection
We understand our duties and responsibilities in our secular lives, but far more important than that is having the time and energy to tend to our church and personal family emotionally, spiritually, and physically.
Balance
Our Christian lifestyles are not all private; we make positive waves in our community that motivates each other and piques the curiosity of outsiders.
